Before anyone else asks, I don't know what is going on. If I did I wouldn't be cursing it all for ruining my holiday plans. I should have known it was all too good to be true.

I’m more than ready for the holiday. There appears to not be enough room in this castle anymore with Draco Malfoy’s fat head taking up all the space.
At least the weather is beautiful. Did I hallucinate snowflakes when finishing up rounds tonight? I’ve always liked the snow. Maybe some of you will see me around in it. Don’t hit me with snowballs though!
Remember to watch your step when going to outdoor classes. We wouldn’t want anyone to break their neck on the way to Herbology.

I have a problem! A fact that is more true than any of you will ever know.
I seem to have used up all my concealer. Does anyone have some that I could borrow? I seem to have -- I have a pimple forming and I’d prefer to not be left without it.

Someone could die from these drafty conditions. I’m positively freezing! Honestly, I’ve been quite comfortable in the dungeons and upper levels of the castle until recently. I’ve had to drag out all of my winter wear. I feel like I’m drowning in the layers but it’s a necessary evil. Better unexposed layered than cold.
On the fortunate side, I’ll be able to get some new jumpers during the holiday. I positively cannot wait to be in my own bed at home. We’re leaning toward staying home and throwing the Christmas party now. Obviously I need to start working on proper guest lists. A theme may be appropriate this year. Eggnog and business conversation does get sort of boring after so many years. It’s in the works. I’ll write more when there is more to write about.
The Carrows have handed me some detention notices that I need to be passed out. I’ll be around to find you if you’re supposed to be getting one. I haven’t a clue what this round of them is for so don’t bother complaining to me. I’m just doing my job. I have better things to do than to listen to you all moan and groan. Poor choice of words.

I am so tired of all the complaining. If you don’t like this school then leave it. Don’t just sit around making threats to leave or whining about the supposed injustices brought against you. There are other schools out there that will be happy to take you in. Most of which will happily form to your every whim. The faculty at Hogwarts is not here to console and coddle you. They are here to educate you which is a point many of you seem to be missing. If your looking for a replacement for your mother and/or father then look elsewhere. As Head Girl, I’m not going to coddle you all either. I have better things to do.
Between rounds and assignments, I’ve barely had a moment to breathe much less have anything exciting to write about. I am very much looking forward to the holidays. We’re still deciding between taking the holiday in the Alps or staying at home and spending extra time planning our annual Holiday Party. I have been a very good girl this year so I do hope you’ve all started to plan your presents for me. In case you were looking for hints, I prefer white gold and bronze. My favourite color is chartreuse. I love sapphires and moonstones. I’m not picky when it comes to stones and gems though. Pearls are always appropriate! I also like soft fabrics. That should give you all a head start! If you need further likes and dislikes feel free to ask.
I unfortunately do have an essay that I need to get into before another rash of rounds. Do try to stay out of trouble tonight. I prefer to not see any of you.

That was the easiest 150 points for Slytherin that I ever earned.
Professors, if you're reading this I'd love to have my own room next time. I think I'd be more productive if I didn't have to share the room with people who snore. I'll even volunteer to help with some of the detentions.
I think I'm the only person who didn't end up with detention. I love it.
Maybe Halloween wasn't so bad after all.

For Halloween, I normally wouldn’t be so quick to dress up but it is my last year and as Prefect I should set a good example for the younger years. I’m not publically writing what I’m going to dress up as because I wouldn’t want my idea to get stolen. You’re all just going to have to wait and see! I promise it’ll be worth the wait! I will have the best costume.
Speaking of good examples, I’d just like to say if there are any illegal activities going on – you’d be smart to not get caught doing them. Some people might take their job lightly but if I were to come across something I shouldn’t (say a club) I might be obligated to tell the Headmaster unless I had good reason not too. Let’s call this a warning.
Also for future reference showing one’s breasts in public is not proper etiquette. I wonder if some of you were raised by muggles or sea monkeys sometimes. If you feel like groping, showing your private parts or anything along these lines please do it somewhere that the rest of us don't have to view it. Some of us would appreciate keeping down our meals.

The papers have gotten ridiculous with their gonzo, war-hungry journalism. I hereby unsubscribe from the Daily Prophet until further notice. I refuse to listen to them talk poorly of the dead especially when they were good and hard working individuals. They’re out to stir up the hornets nest and they’d be smart to just keep their noses out of it all. When will people learn to mind their own business! It’s not a dreadfully hard thing to do.
I’m sick of it all.

I find it rather tragic that some of you would take a death and use it as an excuse to slam our Headmaster. Name-Calling and pointing fingers at him is absolutely ridiculous. He’s doing an excellent job and maybe he didn’t throw a huge party in honor of Professor Burbage and treat her like some sort of War Hero but there isn’t anything wrong with that. Yes, Professor Burbage is dead. Yes, I’m sure some of you are horribly torn up about it. Some of us have better things to do than to mourn every person who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Surely that was all it was. Either that or she was getting in with the wrong crowd. Everyone is so quick to shout the term Death Eaters these days. You all read the article as well as I did though. Jugson died along with her though and if they’re correct about his alliances it would make no sense for this to be any Death Eater activity. Why would you kill your own? It was probably just a love triangle gone wrong. That’s what I think. Now I will discuss the second topic of annoyance. Potter Watch. Seriously, do they have to devote articles to wondering where he’s run off to? I could honestly care less where he and those other two have gone. One of them probably impregnated Granger and they’re all off just trying to cover it up. It makes perfect sense! The sad part is they’re waiting for the baby to come to determine who the father is. I guess they’ll know if it comes out a Ginger. God. I think I might lose my lunch at the thought of bushy haired ginger kids. Classes are going well but there really hasn’t been a great deal of time for socializing between Head Girl duties and homework. I think things should be lightening up soon. It’s always fairly awful at the beginning of the school year. Didn’t we get off the Hogwarts Express for first year yesterday? I’m starting to feel nostalgic. I think when we finally do get out of here I might actually miss a few things about this place. I think it’s mostly people and memories though. I need a cat nap between classes though so I should put this down. As always if you need anything don’t hesitate to let me know.
